Why must the going be hard
Why must the road be long
Why must the path be steep
Why must the light be lost
Why must I travel up river
When the current is rough
Why must I journey at nightfall
When I can very well travel at dusk
Why must the compass be broken
When I've become so lost
Why must the wind blow harder
When I walk against the mighty gust
Why must I go against the grain
When I can go with the flow
Why must the path be rocky
Why must the distance be long
Why must the road be broad
When I'm so far from home
Why must the light be dim
When it's the tunnel I'm in
Why can't the way be easy
Why can't the trials be few
Why can't the light shine through
Why must I always roll over

Does this ever get easy

I love nickelback btw, im not a great male voices fan(cant explain it), but i like he's voice
